Armidale Council are seeking suitably experienced contractors to undertake maintenance, and renewal works on Councils’ timber and concrete bridges for a period of three (3) years.

Experienced contractors are invited to tender for some, or all works related to:

• Routine Bridge Maintenance Servicing
• Specific Maintenance Work Packages involving 19 concrete bridges requiring various minor works such as cleaning, delineation maintenance, sediment removal under approach guardrail, deck joint resealing etc.
• Specific Restoration Work Packages involving the replacement of bridge timbers and/or in-situ strengthening of 4 timber bridges.

It is anticipated further works will be released for quotation over the contract period as available funding permits.

A pre-tender briefing meeting will be held on Tuesday 1 October 2024 commencing at 10.00a.m. Attendance at the meeting is not mandatory but is highly recommended. The meeting will be held at the Burns Gully Bridge on Platform Road, Armidale, 3.7km east of New England Highway.
