Council is seeking a competent and industry recognised caterer to enter into a contract to provide the management and delivery of all food and beverage services associated with Event Catering services and Non-Event Day Function Catering at Leichhardt Oval.

The Contractor will be required to offer a range of innovative food and beverage options and menus appropriate for the nature of the events and clientele, and high quality of food and beverage options and affordability will be expected by Council. Attention to offerings that cater for food allergies will be essential on menu choices.

The Contractor must ensure that a variety of food and beverage options are available for sale at the Venue and priced competitively to encourage patron spend and customer satisfaction. Menu options, packages and pricing shall be submitted to Council for review on an annual basis and should be benchmarked nationally against prices for similar stadia.

The Contractor will be required to conform to all food health and safety licensing and legislative requirements, and permits, WHS legislation, standards and Codes of Practice, as well as all requirements of the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW) and Liquor Amendment Regulation 2016 including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

The Contractor will be required to hold the appropriate liquor license to meet all Event Catering and Non-Event Day Function Catering requirements and deliver on behalf of Council.

The Contractor must ensure a suitably qualified employee of the company is the Nominee in respect of the conditions of the liquor licence and ensure that the nominee observes and performs all duties and obligations required of a nominee under the Liquor Act 2007.

The Contractor will be responsible for all food and beverage administration services relating to their service at the Venues including requisitioning, purchasing and stock control.
