Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is seeking to engage a probity advisor for a period of six (6) months to assist with the ACIC Analytics Capability Project (AACP). The expected roles and responsibilities of the probity advisor are as follows:

  • Probity Plan Development: Develop and implement a probity plan tailored to the specific needs and risks of the project.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document all probity activities and decisions and develop procurement and evaluation documentation in preparation for Stage 2 Business case and approach to market.
  • Ensure Transparency: Oversee and ensure that all processes related to the market activity are conducted in a transparent manner.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess any potential probity risks, ensuring that these are managed appropriately throughout the project.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including procurement guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Process Integrity: Safeguard the integrity of the procurement process, ensuring it is free from bias, favouritism, and conflicts of interest.
  • Confidentiality Assurance: Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information is maintained throughout the market activity.
  • Advisory Role: Provide ongoing probity advice to the project manager, including guidance on best practices and emerging issues.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to ensure they understand and adhere to probity requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any probity-related issues or disputes that arise during the market activity.

Working arrangements will be onsite, full-time (Monday to Friday). Flexible working/Work from home arrangements may be negotiated with the successful candidate after the first six months of the contract period.
