The Department is looking to engage a specialist with extensive experience in the implementation and maintenance of the Huntsman Essential 8 Scorecard in a large and complex ICT environment.

This specialist must have practical and in-depth knowledge in the Architecture and Design, Installation and Deployment, Vulnerability & Compliance Assessment, User Management, Patching and Compliance Analysis, Asset Lists, Dashboards, Reports and Alerts using the Huntsman Essential 8 Scorecard.

This specialist will assist the Vulnerability Management team with the ongoing implementation of the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC)'s Essential 8 mitigation strategies, to protect the Department systems against cyber threats.

The department requires a Huntsman Essential 8 Scorecard Specialist to deliver the following:

1. In-depth knowledge in the architecture, design, installation and deployment of the Huntsman Essential 8 Scorecard on a large and complex ICT network
2. Assist with the continued enhancements and health-checks of the Essential 8 Scorecard Compliance reporting platform

Documentation and written communication skills to develop high-quality reports, procedures and designs as required.

This is a part-time arrangement to supplement the department’s existing Huntsman Essential 8 Scorecard capabilities. As such, it is expected the resource will work to the requirements of the Vulnerability Management team and agreed with the seller and billed on a time and materials basis.

The contractor will work on an ad-hoc as needed basis to meet surge requirements that the team experiences to respond to Essential 8 reporting requirements or changes to the environment.
