Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) is responsible for serving and protecting communities across Melbourne and Victoria’s major regional centres with 86 FRV stations located across the state; 59 Stations in the Greater Metropolitan Melbourne, 27 Stations in Regional Victoria. All the regional stations are co-located with CFA volunteer brigades. Fire Equipment Services (FES) is the commercial division of FRV, providing Services and Maintenance to Fire and Safety Systems, along with Emergency Management & Training.
FRV and FES are seeking a suitable experienced Uniform supplier to provide Industrial Workwear to Non-Operational Staff and Contractor Staff across the state of Victoria.
In total FRV & FES has approximately 200 staff spread across Victoria.
The Non-Operational support staff level at FRV consists of approximately 140 Full Time Employee’s and Apprentices FES Contractor Staff number at 62
All Industrial Workwear garments are to have either the FRV or FES logo attached, and any standard alteration to garment’s Hem and Sleeve Length will be made as required, and at no further expense to FRV or FES.
The Industrial Workwear range will be of a suitable quality consistent with the demands of Emergency Services staff, should be sufficient in fabric strength and durability, styles to meet various shapes, sizes, height and age demographics.
FRV and FES are looking at selecting a range of Industrial workwear items to provide FRV non-operational support staff and FES Contractor Staff garments that meet their needs in the industrial and workshop environment. The Industrial workwear range will consist of garments that will be fit for purpose in line with Australian industry and Australian standards.
The supplier of Industrial Workwear must be able to be/or provide:
1. Onsite service at regular intervals throughout the year for the duration of the Contract; (this would consist of a minimum of one visit per year, to each location).
-During these visits staff may require uniform specific information, fitting and selection assistance, Online ordering help, and/or enquiries into returning product due to a Quality issue.
2. Evidence that they are currently registered with Ethical Clothing Australia.
3. Evidence that they are currently listed with the Victorian Government's Supplier Register.
4. Victorian Industry/Organisations with availability within Victoria/Australia will be highly regarded.
5. FRV and FES Employees a self-managed iCloud Online Ordering portal.
This contract is for the provision of Industrial Workwear for an initial 3 years with a proposed option to extend the agreement by 2 x 1 year extensions at FRV/FES sole discretion (potentially 5years in total).

Failure to comply with this requirement WILL eliminate the Offer from further consideration in the Assessment process.
