This tender relates to the spot spraying of selected weeds on State Highways within the Snow Monaro region, excluding the Monaro Highway north of Cooma and excluding townships and built up areas.

Spot spray control of target weed species will be by means of hand application of registered herbicides, typically utilizing a vehicle mounted, dual reel, motorized spray unit with a minimum 400L capacity.

This tender also seeks submissions for road verge boomspraying on identified roads within the Snowy Monaro region, including selected State Highways. The successful tenderer will provide all necessary plant, including a 2m road verge boomspray and all necessary qualifications and experience to operate on State highways and rural roads.

The successful tenderer must have and maintain G10 (traffic control) accreditation through the Transport for NSW Registration Scheme for Construction Industry Contractors throughout the duration of the contract.

Snowy Monaro Regional Council is offering a 3yr contract until 30 June 2027 to provide the successful tenderer with greater security, noting that the budget allocated to this project may vary seasonally.
