In 2019 Concept Plans were developed through a collaborative design approach incorporating extensive internal stakeholder consultation to upgrade ageing infrastructure to reinvigorate the Penguin Parade experience ensuring it remains Victoria’s number one ecotourism attraction.

Detailed designs were developed, and funding received through the Regional Tourism Investment fund in 2022 placing Phillip Island Nature Parks in the best position to commence delivery of the project.

In 2024 a number of elements of the detailed design are under construction.

The Nature Parks is in a position to continue to the next stage of the project and are inviting tenderers to review the tender documents and submit a tender for design services to complete the remaining elements of the Penguin Parade Boardwalks and Viewing Stands Redevelopment Project as outlined in the brief.

A briefing session will be held at 1019 Ventnor Road, Penguin Parade, Ventnor, VIC, Australia, 3922 on 15 October 2024 01:00 pm.

A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
