The Health Services Directorate, Department of Justice is responsible for the provision of primary health care to offenders in custody in Western Australia.  Healthcare is provided to the same standard that is available in the community in accordance with The Standard Guidelines for Corrections in Australia (2012). This is referred to as “Community Equivalence”.

The Department of Justice (the Contract Authority) is seeking to engage a suitable qualified practitioner or organisation to provide podiatry services to offenders in custody at various sites within the Metropolitan area.

Respondents may submit offers for any or all of the locations. The Contract Authority reserves the right to award a Contract in any of the following ways:

• a panel of suppliers; or
• a single supplier.
