Council has adopted a Regional Economic Development Strategy 2020-41 (REDS) for the City. This strategy outlines a plan to modernise Moreton Bay’s economy, attract more investment with an addition of 16,000 new businesses and the creation of 100,000 new jobs by 2041.

Knowledge, Innovation and Entrepreneurship forms one of the four pillars of the REDS focusing on elevating the city to a ‘Top 10 Regional Innovation Hub’.

Our City is known for having one of the most engaged and collaborative business and industry communities, where innovation, teamwork, and support for local businesses are valued. #teammoretonbay!

To help develop our innovation capacity and capability to create a bigger, bolder and brighter future for our City, Council is seeking to appoint a suitable organisation for Knowledge, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Services that support the implementation of the REDS over the next three to six years.
