The Murray River Council (Principal) covers an area of 11,865 square kilometres, with a population of 11,456. It will comprise three wards, Moama, Greater Murray and Greater Wakool. Each ward will be represented by three councillors.

The Principal is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of the Kerrabee Soundshell Playground Stages 2 & 3. The Playground is located at the Moama Skate Park, accessible via Blair Street/Bartlett Street Moama. In 2023, Stage 1 of the Playground was completed as per the attached plans, with Stage 2 and 3 being advertised as part of this Tender.

Murray River Council is seeking an experienced supplier for the Construction and Installation of items as outlined in the attached plans developed by Thompson Hay Landscape Architects and RMG Civil, in addition to the supplier Bill of Quantities that outlines inclusions, exclusions and details regarding the scope of works.

The Successful supplier will be contracted for the construction of the Moama Soundshell Playground referred to as Stages 2 and 3 as per the Tender attachments. The successful supplier will be responsible for the construction as detailed in the attached Landscape Documentation, Structural Design Details and Bill of Quantities.

It is highly recommended that interested suppliers refer to commentary attached to the Bill of Quantities, as this contains critical information regarding inclusions, exclusions and product substitutions that vary from the attached Landscape Designs.

Some specified products as outlined in the Bill of Quantities will be purchased by Murray River Council and delivered to site for the appointed supplier to prepare and install. This includes specified play equipment, furniture and landscaping products.
