Snowy Valleys Council (SVC) is seeking tender proposals for the design of a Multipurpose Centre at Tumut, NSW.

SVC is to complete construction of the Tumut Multipurpose Centre under grant funding received from the State and Federal Government Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund (BLERF).

The purpose of this consultancy specification and tender is to engage a suitably qualified consultant team to prepare documentation for the Tumut Multipurpose Centre. The Head consultant will ideally provide Architectural Services and will be supported by a team of Engineering and Specialist services.

The consultant team will be required to:

1. Undertake investigations, consultation, and design development of the current Concept

2. Prepare all documentation and lodgement of a Development Application

3. Prepare all required documentation for both a Construction Certificate and a Construction Tender

4. Provide Design Services during construction.

This is a lump sum tender for items 1-3 and hourly rates for item 4.

The project must be completed within tightly established timeframes. The grant funding must be fully acquitted before 30 June 2026. The tenderers must demonstrate how they will resource the project to meet the time schedule.

Prospective tenderers are requested to attend a Mandatory Pre-Tender Site Meeting at Richmond Park, Tumut NSW, on Wednesday 2 October 2024 at 1pm.
