Procurement of a Gas Chromatograph High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (GC-HRMS) for the Chemical Reference Values (CRV) laboratory of the Chemical & Biological Metrology Branch of the National Measurement Institute.

The procurement of a GC-HRMS will complement the existing Gas Chromatograph Tandem Mass Spectrometers within the CRV laboratory, allowing them to perform confirmatory analytical methods via an alternative selectivity path (HRMS). This will ensure the CRV laboratory can continue to maintain and extend their Calibration and Measurement Capability (CMC) claims, provide reference values for proficiency testing programs, and produce reference materials.
