Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) is the Queensland Government’s land use planning and property development agency. The Economic Development Act 2012 (ED Act) provides the legislative framework for EDQ to work in partnership across government, industry and the community to lead and deliver infrastructure and property projects.
Economic Development Queensland (EDQ), is seeking Expressions of interest from contractors to deliver a bespoke scope of works to create a Landscaped public realm space at Lumina. The proposed Lumina Piazza works that are the subject of this EOI represent the State’s ongoing investment into the GCHKP. Lumina Piazza will deliver on the core requirements of activation, placemaking, and curated spaces to complement the surrounding user groups. It also delivers on ecological sustainability outcomes including reducing the Urban Heat Island Effect, improving biodiversity, improvement of community and social interactivity.
The objectives for this EOI:
- Provide suitable documentation and background to inform contractor/s of the project objectives, the mode of contract delivery, desired timeframes and requirements of the Principal.
- Outline the high standard of documentation, and schedules that define the project documentation to encourage contractor/s to tender for the works.
- Notify contractor/s of the opportunity to register and be considered as a shortlisted contractor to tender for the project.
A Mandatory site inspection to be advised via an Addendum once confirmed.
