The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the construction of concrete slabs and walls at the Proposed Transfer Station, at Henderson Waste Recovery Park, 920 Rockingham Road, Henderson WA.

The project involves the construction of concrete slabs and retaining walls that will be used as storage ‘bins’ for sorting of household waste into different types (e.g. steel, white goods, mattresses etc). This will enable the recovery of recyclable waste for processing at other facilities.

The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.

The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of one (1) year from the date of contract award, the Contract is expected to commence in October 2024.
