Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (the Principal) requires the supply, delivery and install, with ongoing servicing & maintenance of lockers at Cockburn ARC.
Due to the increased size of the facility and expected increase in patronage the additional lockers are required to meet the demand and replacement of existing lockers to ensure consistency and standardised functionality across all lockers.
As a part of the Cockburn ARC expansion works the sourcing of new additional lockers are to be placed in the newly constructed areas as well as the replacement of existing lockers is required. In total approximately 332 lockers are required across the facility in a variety of configurations. Procurement is to be inclusive of lockers, locker RFID scanners/ locking mechanism and integration with existing software system.
Within the term of the contract, there may be a requirement for the successful contractor to supply ‘ad hoc’ additional lockers within the facility that are not currently listed, at the discretion of the Principal.
The timeline for the delivery and installation of lockers is dependent on completion of facility expansion construction works and suppliers are requested to provide quotes for supplying and installing lockers all at once and separately in stages.
All services shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal’s Representative in strict accordance with the Contract, this Specification, and the Contracted Schedule of Rates along with any work instruction issued by the Principal’s Representative.
The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.
The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of One (1) Year from the date of contract award, with a Principal instigated option to extend by 12 months and a further 12-month extension option (1 Year, 12 months +12 Months) to a total of three (3) years.
The Contract is expected to commence in January 2025.
