Tender Description
In its response to recommendations 25, 26 and 28 of the first Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce report (WSJT Report One), the Queensland Government committed to making available a diversity of perpetrator interventions across a continuum of risk and need.
As part of implementation of this recommendation, the Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) is seeking a Provider to trial a brief intervention for people using or suspected of using domestic and family violence (DFV) (brief intervention trial). This trial will be targeted at people using violence (PuV) who are at the lower/earlier end of criminal justice intervention across the continuum of risk and need.
Please note that during this tender and tender response evaluation period, Queensland Government will be in Caretaker Mode and relevant conventions apply. We draw your attention to Clause 13.4 of the Service Agreement – Suspending or Stopping Funding. In the event of an incoming government (either existing or new) not wishing to proceed with this project, we reserve the right to invoke this Clause. Please note that the Caretaker period ends when the incoming government is sworn in.
