Tablelands Regional Council invites quotations from suitably qualified respondents for the facade renewal of the Malanda Majestic Theatre, Eacham Place, Malanda.

The Scope is as follows:

Undertake the following activities to restore the Malanda Majestic Theatre (601743) facade:

Repaint external weather board façade (green section) and casement windows including:

• Temporarily disconnect point of power supply to middle of façade,

• Mould kill wash down to front and rear of façade of building,

• Sand timber weather boards and casement windows,

• Replace rotten timber cladding with same material, where required,

• Fill all cracks and gaps,

• Apply two coats of paint to weather boards and casement windows. Paint for all timber weather boards and casement windows to match existing colour,

• Removal and reinstatement of the barge capping whilst conducting weather board repainting activities, includes replacing sections in poor condition where required. The barge capping will be replaced with a similar product and colour to match the existing.

• Removal and possible reinstatement of the Malanda Theatre sign, if sign is in poor condition, it will be replaced with a new sign, replicating the fonts and colour utilised in the existing sign.

• Replace sheeting on the rear of the façade. Re-paint utilising a similar colour to match the existing

• Reconnect point of power supply.
