Wollondilly Shire Council operates the Bargo Waste Management Centre, situated on Lot 242 DP 751250 at 27 Anthony Rd, Bargo. This site has been in use since the late 1960s and is licensed to accept general solid waste (non-putrescible) and waste tyres for landfilling.
Council is looking for an experienced and qualified Contractor to finalise detailed design and investigations, as well as carry out the construction work needed to close the landfill in line with EPA guidelines and the approved Landfill Closure Plan.
Council anticipates this will be delivered in two phases, one being design finalisation and the second, the completion of all relevant construction activities.
The objective of the EOI process is to identify organisations of suitable capacity, capability and experience that are interested in entering into the proposed contract(s).
Council will identify applicants that it considers best satisfy the evaluation criteria and invite these organisations to join the shortlist. Only organisations that are shortlisted through this EOI process will be eligible to submit tenders.
