Tender Description
The Tablelands Regional council is pleased to invite you to tender for the improvement of multiple gully crossings throughout the Local Government Area LGA that were damaged as a result of the Northern and Central Queensland Monsoon and Flooding, 20 December 2022 March 2023 Event as described in more detail in Part 5 Scope.
The work involved includes, but is not limited to:
- Contractors Site Facilities and Camp
- Provision for Traffic
- Environmental Management
- Erosion and Sediment Control
- Drainage, Retaining Structures and Protective Treatments
- Earthworks Preparation, excavation, subgrade treatment, backfill.
- Signage; and Other works as required under the contract.
The scope associated with Betterment will be refined to meet budgetary restraints. Betterment sites that do not meet budget will be removed and replaced with the corresponding REPA site.
It is envisaged that this process will be undertaken as Post Tender Correspondence in collaboration with shortlisted Tenderers. The award amount would then be reflective of these discussions and the Contract Schedule reflective of the final works package.
Without relieving the Contractor of any of its obligations under the Contract, Betterment site set out and final quantities will be undertaken by the Contractor and Superintendents Representative prior to construction commencing. Any variations to scope after Contract award will be dealt with under the provisions of the Contract.
Roads must remain open, safe and trafficable for the duration of the works. All costs associated with traffic management, sidetracks and reinstatement are to be included in the provided pricing.
Award of any or all parts of this tender is at the sole discretion of Tablelands Regional Council.
