TPG Architects on behalf of the Roman Catholic Trust Corporation for the Diocese of Cairns and Newman Catholic College, invites appropriately qualified builders to submit their registration of interest to tender on the construction of Newman Catholic College, Final Stage 3.

The project consists of a new four storey building with a total floor area of approximately 4053m2 GFA, consisting of the following spaces.

• Executive Offices, Staff, Student and Administration areas.
  
• 2 Science Classrooms
• Food Technology Classroom
• Library and Resources areas
• 6 General Learning areas and 5 Project Rooms.

Builders must demonstrate their experience in the following criteria in their Expression of Interest:

• Capacity to undertake projects up to $25,000,000.00
• Proven track record of delivering medium to large scale education facility projects on, or ahead of schedule.
• Management of a construction site within a busy operational campus, with multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to working with consultants and client to deliver the best outcome for the project.
• An established North Queensland base, with a commitment to sourcing locally based suppliers and contractors.

Tender documents will be released to selected builders in mid- October, with tenders closing in mid- late November 2024.

Construction is planned to commence December 2024.

Registrations should address the above critical criteria and include the QBCC licence details, portfolio of recent projects, project referees, and CV's of key personnel.
