Mansfield Shire Council is responsible for tree management on designated land within the Mansfield Shire Council area. This includes trees in open space such as Council managed parks, reserves/pathways, and urban streetscapes. Trees within the road maintenance envelope which encompasses the road shoulder and drainage for roads listed on Council's Road register are also included. To assist with management, council is seeking to create a panel of arborist and tree services contractors to be available to complete both proactive and reactive tree works.
