The proposal is to outsource the daily operation of the Multi-Deck carpark at Ballarat Base Hospital to a commercial car park operator that will be able to manage the carpark 24 hours a day, 7 days a week inclusive of a capital contribution.

The objectives of the project from the perspective of Grampians Health will be to:

a. Ensure the car park is operated efficiently and safely to support the parking requirements of patients, staff and visitors to the hospital

b. To generate sustainable returns in order to improve the investment performance of the car park in the long-term including the provision of value-added initiatives

c. To ensure the car park is operated with a focus on the provision of excellent customer service in alignment with the values of Grampians Health

d. To foster positive relationships with all customers of the car park

e. To ensure the presentation of the car park is maintained and functioning at a high standard
