Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a high-level concept design of a consistent, continuous and resilient active transport network within the area of investigation and integrate this network into the over-arching strategic Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP) and the Moree Plains Community Strategic Plan 2032.
The aim is to expand pedestrian access and improve footpath design for the high numbers of pedestrians that use the thoroughfares within the area of investigation.
The area of investigation is in Moree, NSW and includes multiple intersections, a bridge crossing, community services and parkland.
Stakeholder engagement is required. The concept design and post-completion report are expected to be delivered by the end of March 2025.
