OVERVIEW OF GOODS/SERVICES

Queensland Rail Ltd (Queensland Rail) is one of Australia’s largest rail transport providers. As an integrated rail business with more than 150 years of operational experience, serving the freight, tourism and passenger markets, it provides safe passenger services within the Brisbane metropolitan area and key regional centres throughout the State of Queensland.

In line with Queensland Rail’s safety vision statement “Safety Comes First. Always.”, Queensland Rail is committed to the highest level of safety for its customers, staff and properties across its network.

Queensland Rail’s Catering Unit has a requirement for suitably experienced food, beverage and hospitality suppliers (a panel of suppliers) to undertake the supply and delivery of products and/or services to various locations.

With the current panel expiring on 6 June 2025, there is a requirement to establish a replacement panel to meet Queensland Rail’s ongoing requirements.

QUEENSLAND SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES AND FIRST NATIONS OWNED SUPPLIERS

Queensland small and medium enterprises and First Nations owned suppliers are encouraged to tender.

There is a mandatory criterion that only Queensland small and medium enterprises and/or First Nations owned suppliers will be awarded the panel contracts relevant to ‘Specific Suppliers’ and ‘Associated Services’ categories if successful.

METHOD OF SUBMISSION

Tenderers are required to submit their responses via the tendering portal. Hardcopy or emailed responses will not be accepted.

Late tender responses will not be accepted. Tenderers must ensure that they allow sufficient time to upload their tender response before the tender closing time.
