Shire of Northam are seeking suitable contractors to provide contract cleaning services to the Shire of Northam’s outlying public toilets and buildings.

The contract is will expire on 30th April 2027 with an option for one (1) two-year extension at the Principal’s discretion.

The Contractor is required to keep the Shire’s facility clean. They will also have staff available for emergency cleans of the facility due to vandalism or other unexpected events.

The Contractor will advise the Shire of Northam immediately of any damage or maintenance items that need to be rectified.

Paper products, hand wash, urinal blocks and bin liners are to be supplied by the contractor. Prices to be added to part 5 schedule of rates.

All cleaning products and tools required for these works is to be provided by the contractor.

The Contractor is to keep a file on each site with current MSDS and all safety information.

Cleaning log sheet is to be maintained on site in a mutually agreed location and completed after every clean.

Communication book to be established at each location for facility users to communicate to cleaning contractors any issues that may have arisen. Any identified issues are to be actioned by the contractors.

There will be two non mandatory opportunities for a tender briefing and a self guided site inspection to be held Tuesday 25th October 2024 at 10am and Tuesday 22nd October 2024 at 10am. The inital meeting will be held at Northam Operations Depot located at 67 Byfield St Northam.
