Tender Description
NPWS is inviting EOI submissions from suitably qualified operators to deliver guided multi-day walking tours, guided day tours and transport service to and from the Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk.
Project goals
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is looking for reliable guided operators to provide multi-day walking and guided day tours along the Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk and surrounding walks and a transport service provider to drop off and pick up self-guided walkers. NPWS will collaborate with successful respondents to promote its services.
The Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk (meaning the Old People’s Track) is a 39-kilometre walk on the north coast of New South Wales. It passes through the traditional lands of Widjabul Wia-bal and Minjungbal People from the Bundjalung Nation. The 4-day walk winds through some of the region's most spectacular rainforest and ridgelines and features three new campgrounds where walkers can camp overnight.
