Tamworth Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably experienced commercial operators for EOI number E037-2025 Proposed moulded pulp packaging manufacturing facility at 123B Forest Road, Tamworth.
The purpose of this EOI is to engage with the market and identify potential partners and arrangements that may allow Council to construct a moulded pulp packaging manufacturing facility in Tamworth using product sourced from the New England and North West regions of NSW.
This EOI is the first stage in a multistage procurement process. Should the EOI demonstrate there are qualified operators with the necessary experience to design construct and operate such a facility Council may progress the project to seek funding for the new facility. Should Council be awarded grant funding then Council proposes to complete a tender process from those who submitted an EOI with the goal of entering into a project agreement before construction work commences.
