The Aotearoa New Zealand Advanced Training Subcommittee - Cardiology seeks expressions of interest for 2 vacant Committee positions.
The Aotearoa Advanced Training Sub-Committee - Cardiology is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from 2 cardiologists:
- 1 cardiologist from a rural site (Nelson, Tauranga, Hawke’s Bay, or Whangārei).
- 1 cardiologist from another site to join the Committee
The Committee’s purpose is to monitor and support trainees throughout their physician training, which includes the approval and certification of rotations, accreditation visits to hospitals to ensure sites maintain the requisite standard of training and supporting College supervisors.
The Committee meets two times a year, usually for 1 face-to-face meeting and 1 over Zoom, with occasional out-of-session meetings as needed.
