Tender Description
Swan Hill Rural City Council is seeking tender submissions from qualified and experienced contractors to construct the foundations for a new community playground at the Centenary Park in Robinvale, Victoria.
Contractors are invited to submit a quote for either the complete scope of works OR for specific items within the tender.
Works include:
- Earthworks and concreting comprising drainage, paving, surfaces, rockwork and timber;
- Masonry and stonemason services;
- Supply & installation of six (6) solar streetlights, including footings. (Recommended solar lights are included in the Specification, however Council is open to considering alternative options).
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Robinvale is a town in north-western Victoria, situated between Mildura and Swan Hill. The town is surrounded on three sides by the Murray River and boasts large irrigated fruit and vegetable farms and vineyards. The population of Robinvale is estimated to be around 8,000 residents.
Construction of the Robinvale Centenary Playground Park will occur in three stages: (1) Surface works including concreting, drainage, paving and stonemason services and installation of 6 solar lights; (2) Supply & installation of playground equipment (contract has been awarded) and (3) Landscaping. This tender specifically refers to the first stage: surface works.
