Tender Description
The tender covers ash dam capping, general civil works and poly pipe welding at the Vales Point Power Station and Chain Valley Mine, both of which are located at Mannering Park on the NSW Central Coast.
Work is in Separable Portions. Tenders may bid on Portions as detailed in the Technical Specification.
Delta may award one contract for all Separable Portions or award individual contracts based on specific Portions of work.
Contracts will be for a per iod of up to five years nominally commencing January 2024.
Ash Dam Capping entails provision of permanent contractor plant and personnel on site at the Vales pOint Ash Dam to spread and compact ENM/VENM as sourced by Delta.
General Civil Works entails provision of plant and personnel under a schedule of rates arrangement to undertake a variety of civil service requirements including:
i. General manual labour;
ii. Road works – new construction and maintenance;
iii. Stormwater drainage;
iv. Clearing of oil or stormwater pits and sumps;
v. Environmental projects; oil and grit traps, environmental dams;
vi. Trenching excavation and backfill;
vii. Cleanout if dams by excavation and tippers;
viii. Clean out drains, by hand tools and with machinery;
ix. Dig open drains with machinery;
x. Move materials around with small trucks such as dirt, rocks, concrete, gravels; biomass other materials. Typically done using tippers; 2T, 8T, 12T and truck and dog;
xi. Dewatering using portable diesel pumps. Including set up and operation;
xii. Cleaning up coal spills from around hoppers, bins and conveyors;
xiv. Miscellaneous concrete works; and
xv. Fence repair and construction.
