Council is calling for expressions of interest for community groups and organisations to supply local district catering services for Council meetings or events as required from time to time.

To qualify the organisation must provide the following.

• Valid ABN and ability to provide a valid Tax Invoice
• A food safety supervisor - Food Safety Supervisor Certification | SA Health
• Food handlers must hold a certificate in safe food handling (a free online course can be found here)
• Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance.
• Price list including options and cost per item or platter including items per platter.
• Options for special needs when required – Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Vegan

The following are examples of potential requirements:

• Sandwiches, baguettes and rolls – type, filling
• Quiches, pies, pasties, sausage rolls, arancini etc
• Cakes, small and large
• Platters – dips, cheese, meats, cold rolls, etc
• Hot food to be served as a dinner item – curries and rice, lasagne and salad,
• chicken and salads etc.
• Other options as suggested.

This list is suggested items only and we welcome other cuisine options as you are able to provide.

On receipt of applications by the closing date, council will engage with as many community organisations that meet the criteria on a rotational basis with preference given to organisations in the locality the meeting or event is being held.
