Sunshine Coast Council is responsible for the management of approximately 480kms of unsealed road network throughout the region. Unsealed roads selected for re-sheeting and associated works are identified annually through engineer condition and field condition assessments. Maintenance activities are designed to ensure the safety of the Sunshine Coast unsealed road user community, through the achievement of defined service levels and, where possible, extend the working life of the road network asset.

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of contracted works re-sheeting of selected roads. The Contractor will collect, cart and lay 2.5 Grade Maintenance Gravel supplied from Image Flat Quarry at the prescribed Sites listed in the Program of Work.

The Program of Work (POW) consists of six roads within two (2) zones as follows:

• Southern Zone – Unsealed Roads, Council Division 1
• Northern Zone – Unsealed Roads, Council Division 9 and 10

This tender is not divided into separable portions. The POW is to be carried out between February and April 2025.
