Tender Description
VicTrack is an organisation that owns Victoria’s rail transport land and assets on behalf of the Victorian state government. These assets include land, buildings on VicTrack land, infrastructure, trams, trains , bus facilities and telecommunications networks. VicTrack as the asset owner has the role and responsibility to manage assets consistent with the transport system objectives set out in accordance with the Transport Integration Act.
The activities defined by this specification focus on critical sites and assets that are used to support the operations of the Victorian rail and telecommunications network. These sites support critical equipment vital to business continuity associated with rail network operations, broader transport, and operations; as a result, DC power and cooling infrastructure design at a site typically considers a level of resilience to minimise the risk of telecoms service interruption.
This specification is provided to allow VicTrack to undertake tender procurement for services associated with sites other than Data Centres for rectifier battery, cooling, and site maintenance.
The proposed services will include delivery, supply, installation, maintenance, and labour required to meet the scope of works under the listed categories.
Part A - Active Communication equipment maintenance
Part B - Cooling maintenance
Part C - Physical site maintenance

2. Please register you interest for a briefing session by Wednesday 12 March 2025 with the Invitation Manager via email as per contact details in Section 4 of Part A The Invitation.
3. Invitees are advised that pre-qualification through VicTrack's compliance partner, Avetta, is a pre-requisite for the final contract execution. Costs may apply for Avetta registration for any potential supplier not currently pre-qualified.
4. Fair jobs code (FJC) Pre-Assessment Certificate is Mandatory. All Invitees submitting bids for threshold procurement contracts must hold a valid Pre-Assessment Certificate issued by the FJC Unit in accordance with the FJC and the FJC Guidelines.
