Request for Information: Perth Zoo Digital Future Zoo Program

The Perth Zoo is currently embarking on the ‘Future Zoo’ Master Plan over 20-years to deliver an extensive infrastructure redevelopment program.

Recognising the important role technology plays in delivering positive customer engagement and experiences, the Perth Zoo wishes to explore opportunities to improve its current customer platforms.

Perth Zoo is developing a business case addressing Perth Zoo’s customer platforms including:

• Content Management System (CMS) including:
• Public Website
• Customer Portals (Fundraising and Donations, Corporate Partners, Education etc.)
• Booking System (Ticketing both online and in store)
• Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
• Zoo Shop Systems (Online and Physical)
• Analytics and Other Enabling Platforms

Respondents should note that the objective of this RFI is to develop a better understanding of the options to replace the Zoo’s current customer facing digital platform to assist in the evaluation of options and decision-making processes related to the development of a business case. As such, requests for demonstrations or further clarification should not be interpreted to represent commitment from the Zoo regarding the progressing to procurement or implementation.

Respondents to this RFI are advised that no contract will eventuate from this RFI process. If the Zoo proceeds with a formal procurement process, the procurement will be undertaken in accordance with the relevant procurement policy requirements.

In the event of a procurement process, vendors will not be advantaged or disadvantaged on the basis that they did or did not respond to this RFI.
