Northern Grampians Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced aquatic consultants for schematic and detailed design services and preparation of tender documentation for the proposed upgrade of the St Arnaud Swimming Pool. The Council’s detailed requirements are set out in Part 2 (Project Brief).

St Arnaud is located 240km North West of Melbourne and is known for its rich heritage and strong community spirit. The St Arnaud Swimming Pool has been a significant recreational facility for the residents, providing a vital space for physical activity, social interaction, and community events. The existing pool and surroundings need refurbishment to meet contemporary standards, improve accessibility, and ensure long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

 The architect must have:

• A proven track record in public aquatic facility design, particularly in the refurbishment of swimming pools
• Demonstrable experience in incorporating ESD and universal design principles into their designs.
• Knowledge of and compliance with the Local Jobs First Act 2003.
