1. PURPOSE:

The Dungog Shire Council invites tenders to Design and Construct the New Clarence Town Bridge. This invitation is extended to entities possessing the requisite expertise and experience in bridge construction and civil engineering. The Project's scope includes the comprehensive design and construction of a new concrete bridge over the Williams River, inclusive of bridge works, associated approach roadworks, drainage works, and ancillary structures. The successful tenderer will be responsible for delivering the Project in accordance with the stipulated technical specifications, within the agreed timeframe, and aligned with the Council's strategic infrastructure objectives.

2. INVITATION:

Dungog Shire Council seeks submissions from suitably qualified contractors who demonstrate the ability to meet the Project's requirements and adhere to the highest quality and safety standards. It is the tenderer's responsibility to ensure that their submission is complete and lodged in accordance with the specified tender lodgement procedures, as outlined in Item 7 of this document. Tenders received after the Closing Date may not be considered.

Pricing for the tender should be provided as a lump sum fixed price, in accordance with the Pricing Schedule detailed in Schedule 2 - Section 4 of the Tender Document. The Council encourages prospective tenderers to thoroughly review all associated documentation and requirements specified in the GC21 framework to ensure comprehensive and compliant tender submissions.
