La Trobe University is issuing this Expressions of Interest (EOI) to engage with experienced and innovative food and beverage service providers who can partner with us to deliver a comprehensive catering solution across our Bundoora Campus. This EOI serves as a key step in assessing market interest and will inform a procurement strategy to be finalised by the end of this year, with formal sourcing and market engagements planned to commence by the end of Q1 next year.
We are seeking a provider capable of delivering a holistic solution that encompasses all catering opportunities, including student meal plans, internal meetings, functions, short-term accommodation catering, external events, and on-campus amenities such as the Glenn Bistro and a revitalised campus bar. Future operations will have exclusive access to a 15x4.2m centrally located commercial kitchen that has complete fit-out, fully equipped, and has a separate freezer, cool room, and dry storage room. The kitchen has close access to a loading dock for deliveries, and two dedicated parking spots for catering delivery and vehicles. The caterer can use the kitchen for catering outside of La Trobe University during off-peak periods, ensuring La Trobe requests are always prioritised.
