Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 35% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 217,000 Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. Moreover, the city's population is expected to grow by 39,000 by 2041, creating a demand for 12,000 new dwellings and associated infrastructure.

ABOUT THE TENDER:

Lake Macquarie City Council services around 30 boat ramps between 4 and 8 times a year in the Lake Macquarie Local Government Area. Council is seeking to appoint a panel of experienced and qualified Service Providers to carry out cleaning, minor repairs and maintenance of Lake Macquarie City Council's boat ramp facilities for an initial period of two years with two 12-month extension options available at Council's discretion.
