Fraser Coast Regional Council is inviting offers from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for CTDC014 – 24/25 - Hervey Bay Airport Airfield and Apron Flood Lighting System Upgrade, the works MUST be carried out in line with all the key requirements as outlined it the Scope.

The body of works is broken down into five components:

1. Apron Flood Lighting System - Design, supply and retrofit an apron flood lighting system that is compliant and meets the criteria of Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Manual of Standards (MOS) 139 Aerodromes and AS.NZS3827.1.
2. Runway and Taxiway Lighting - Modify current lighting to ensure compliance with MOS 139 and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) 9157 that ensure the lighting frangible point meets the required standards (yield point should be no more than 38mm above the ground).
3. Runway Threshold Lighting - Supply and install MOS 139 compliant inset lighting to both runway thresholds.
4. AGL Cable Insulation Resistance - Undertake sectionalised testing of runway and taxiway airfield ground lighting primary cable to determine current Cable Meg Ohm readings - complete rectification works to achieve require AGL required best practice Meg Ohm readings.
5. Other works - Address all other recommended works as per ETI report.

It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the Specification. The Principal may award part or whole of the contract to a single Tenderer or to a panel of Tenderers.
