Tender Description

Restoration and revegetation of at least 250 hectares of superb parrot woodland habitat in Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes and Riverina.

Project goals

Restoration and revegetation of at least 250 hectares of superb parrot woodland habitat

Scope

The scope of the procurement includes the supply of:

  1. Restoration of at least 250 hectares of superb parrot habitat using revegetation methods including direct seeding and tubestock planting.
  2. Adequate numbers of seed, tube stock trees, shrubs and ground cover plants, required to revegetate and restore at least 250 hectares of superb parrot habitat.
  3. Vehicles (including 4wd), machinery, tools, equipment and materials (e.g. fencing materials) that will be necessary for the restoration of at least 250 hectares of superb parrot habitat. The supplier will need to cover all costs associated with travel and any required overnight accommodation and subsistence.
  4. Monitoring of revegetation success and plant survival rates at a representative sample of sites in Year 3 and 4.
  5. A minimum of 4 landholder engagement events to achieve the restoration target.
  6. Monitoring surveys for superb parrots at a representative sample of restoration sites in Year 3 and 4.
