Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors to undertake drilling, blasting and crushing at council's Halfway Hill Quarry on Ansons Bay Road and Merry Creek Quarry on Mathinna Plains Road.

The three year contract will require a production of up to 10,000m° of -25mm gravel per year at each quarry dependant on Council’s requirements.

Tender documents will be available from Tuesday 22nd October 2024 and can be obtained by registering on Council’s website: www.bodc.tas.gov.au, selecting the “My Council” tab and choosing “Tenders”.

Tenders are to be sealed in an envelope, marked with “Break O’Day Council Tender” and include the tender number.

Completed documents may be either delivered or posted to Council offices at 32-34 Georges Bay Esplanade, St Helens TAS 7216; or emailed to admin@bodc.tas.gov.au

Neither the lowest nor any tender will necessarily be accepted.
