The Beachport Boatyard is a critical marine facility that serves the rock lobster commercial fishing industry that operates out of Beachport and Southend, South Australia. The Boatyard serves approximately 40 boats and provides launching and retrieval capability, as well as storage of boats and associated maintenance facilities during the off season.

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) is seeking a supplier who can undertake the design, fabrication and supply of a Slipway Trailer, which is compatible with the new Straddle Carrier recently procured for Beachport Boatyard, while maintaining current requirement for movement of boats.
