Tender Description

Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) operates the Sewage Pumping Station CAL 02 which is located between 34 and 38 Monterey Way (near Bruce Hwy), Calliope QLD.

Currently a temporary chemical dosing unit is installed to address odour issues downstream of the CAL02 pump station discharge manhole. GRC wishes to have the temporary dosing setup changed to permanent and to facilitate this, civil and electrical works are required.

Gladstone Regional Council requires a suitably qualified contractor to Design and Construct the following:

  • A concrete slab on which to install the permanent dosing unit
  • A bund wall on the perimeter of the concrete slab
  • A spill drain from the bund area to the existing wet well;
  • Extend the existing concrete slab for the new switchboard;
  • Extend the existing fencing to encapsulate the new switchboard; and
  • Install and commission a new switchboard (supplied by GRC) and telemetry.
  • Install and commission a new Ergon Metering Panel (supplied by GRC)
  • Install a new telecommunications aerial
  • Install several underground conduits
  • Install cyclone-rated roof (located on site) to the new switchboard
