The purpose of the EOI is to identify suitably experienced Service Providers to provide scheduled cleaning services at a number of Maitland City Council's operations buildings, community buildings, toilet blocks and public barbeques. The EOI is a single stage selective process to establish a "shortlist" of interested parties and will be followed by a second stage tender submission phase, in which, the successful applicants of the EOI process will be invited to submit a Tender.

The Service Provider shall provide scheduled cleaning services at a number of Maitland City Council's operations buildings, community buildings, toilet blocks and public barbeques and shall seek to:

- Maintain the amenity of the facilities,

- Maintain a clean a safe environment for users,

- Maintain hygienic and sanitary conditions in all areas,

- Assist with prevention of pest infestations,

- Restocking of consumables,

- Daily opening and closing of public toilets.

The required cleaning services will vary at each of the sites and be dependent the type of facility. The facilities that will require cleaning services under this contract include:

- Offices

- Training & meeting rooms

- Community halls

- Function spaces

- Storage rooms

- Library spaces

- Computer & study rooms

- Public toilets

- Grandstands
