The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (Department) has statewide responsibility for the planning for future communities. The Department plays a vital role in improving the quality of life of all Western Australians. We plan the cities and towns in which we live and the transport routes that connect us to our jobs, friends and places of recreation. The Department is preparing a development site located along Canning Highway in East Fremantle (see Attachment 1 – Site Photo) as part of the Housing Diversity Pipeline (HDP) program.  The site comprises six individual lots (Lots 14-19) with a combined area of approximately 3,665 m2 (inclusive of land reserved for future road widening) located along Canning Highway in East Fremantle.
