Tender Description
Whitsunday Regional Council (Principal) requires three (3) soft shade covers to be renewed/upgraded (the Works). The locations (Sites) below are listed in priority of works to be completed:
a) Proserpine Swimming Pool - Toddler Pool, Anzac Road, Proserpine, Queensland 4800;
b) Beach Road Park - Playground, Coral Esplanade, Cannonvale, Queensland 4802; and
c) Mt Coolon Community Centre - Playgrounds, Barclay Street, Mt Coolon, Queensland 4804.
The upgrade to these assets allows the Principal to offer locations to the Community that are safe and comfortable to encourage active living.
The Principal is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced building contractor (the Contractor) to complete the design and engineering and manage all aspects of the Works including:
1. Design;
2. Demolition of existing (where required);
3. Obtaining the required approvals; and
4. Construction of the new shade structures.
