Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for Tender T029-2025 Design and Construction of Riverside Shared Path Lighting. The path is used by cyclists and pedestrians and runs adjacent to an unlit road and sporting fields. There is limited access to electricity so it is anticipated that the majority (or all) of the lighting will be solar. The lighting category to be achieved is PP3, as per AS1158.3. The length of path to be lit is approximately 1.6km.

There is a mandatory tender briefing scheduled for 11.00am AEDT Wednesday 31 October 2024 onsite at the start of the shared path, at the corner of Gipps Street and Solander Drive, Tamworth NSW 2340.

The practical completion date of this project is 23 May 2025 at the latest.

This is a lump sum contract. The contract is an amended version of AS4902-2000.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any submission and anyone who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
