As part of the Banyule City Council’s Capital Works Programme for the year 2024-2025, Council is planning to undertake the replacement of gas systems and the electrification of 7 sites across Council. This RFT is for the appointment of a Contractor to undertake these works. The successful Contractor will be appropriately experienced and resourced to deliver the project.

An overview of the Small Sites Electrification works include but is not limited to:

• Cartledge Reserve – Removal of existing kitchen equipment and installation of new kitchen equipment. Electrical and hydraulic works will also be required.

• Elder Street Cricket Club – Electrical and hydraulic works to be undertaken.

• Greensborough Senior Citizens Club & Meals on Wheels – Removal of existing kitchen equipment and installation of new kitchen equipment. Electrical and hydraulic works will also be required.

• Heidelberg United Soccer Club Pavilion – Removal of existing kitchen equipment and installation of new kitchen equipment. Electrical and hydraulic works will also be required.

• Ivanhoe Cricket Club Pavilion – Removal of existing kitchen equipment and installation of new kitchen equipment. Electrical and hydraulic works will also be required.

• Parks & Building Depot – Electrical and hydraulic works to be undertaken.

• Olympic Village & Family Centre – Removal of existing kitchen equipment and installation of new kitchen equipment. Electrical works will also be required.

• The contractor is also required to complete a Dial Before You Dig as part of capturing/considering any service implications for the proposed works. The contractor will also be responsible for liaising/coordinating the works with the relevant service authorities for each of the sites.
