Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced supplier who can provide a unique show, incorporating laser, lights, soundscapes, projections and/or drones. The show will be held during the annual Cairns Festival and complement and enhance the region's sense of place, diverse heritage and distinct tropical lifestyle.

The Cairns Festival is a 10-day celebration of the arts and culture in Tropical North Queensland and is considered to be one of the biggest cultural events on the Cairns calendar. It is held annually in late August/early September. The event delivers a vibrant, progressive and collaborative festival and provides a platform to engage locals and visitors alike by exploring the region's unique sense of place, diverse heritage and distinct tropical lifestyle. Cairns Festival proudly showcases the breadth and depth of local creatives, as well as working to bring world-class national and international performers and arts experiences to the region.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
