Tender Description

This project includes:

  • A full-sized acrylic-surfaced netball court for training purposes with a 100-lux lighting system. It also serves as a public multi-purpose court when not in use for netball training.
  • Replacement of the three cricket nets with five synthetic grass cricket nets with a 300-lux lighting system. When not in use for cricket training, soft retractable nets will allow this space to serve as a public multi-purpose space and netball training facility with removeable netball goal posts.
  • Storage for Netball goal posts, AFL goal posts, ball machine and netball equipment.
  • Replacement of the existing 22 bay carpark taken up by the new netball court, with a 17 bay carpark, resulting in a loss of five spaces.
  • Accessibility ramp from the new carpark to the netball court and east oval edge.
  • Associated fencing, sports equipment, park furniture and relocated drinking fountain.
  • Pavement and drainage works.
  • Pedestrian and maintenance vehicle access.
